Janel Schick-Owner, Stylist & Skin Care

In 1995 I dove in to this wonderful world of beauty and fashion. I am a master stylist here at Salon & Spa Crist and I absolutely love to do hair! It all started when I was a little girl cutting and styling my friends hair with no training at all.  I was destined to be where I am today. Not only am I a busy stylist here at Salon & Spa De Crist I am also the privileged owner. I thank the Lord daily when I walk through the doors of this amazing Salon and and Spa. He truly has made it what it is today. My most favorite thing about being a stylist is being able to create a look that is totally customized just for you then teach you how to recreate it at home. I can look at you and see the potential beauty screaming to come out through your hair,  once I have you looking super amazing I love to see how beautiful you feel. I love doing fun, funky colors, edgy razor cuts, but I also love the precession of a classic scissor cut. Taking the time to make every detail count. I have naturally curly hair myself and I thoroughly enjoy working with its texture. There are many women walking the earth today with what they think is cursed frizzy hair, when really it just needs the right stylist taking care of it. There is nothing better than to bring out the wonderful potential that your hair can produce with the right products. Your hair can be SO amazing! Hairdressing to me is just like it sounds, “dressing the hair”. It is so important that everyday your hair is dressed for success. Whether you are headed to work, school, Target, or its your wedding day, your hair is the most important part of your outfit. That’s why you should have someone that you trust and value their opinion to help you look your very best everyday. 
Many of us are busy with our lives and schedules, so when you come to sit in my chair its all about you. This is your chance to relax and allow me to serve you to the max. Lizz Taylor-Webster - Hair, Skin & Nails

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Taylor-Webster. Everything Beauty Is My Passion!! I am currently providing hair, skin and nails services here at Salon & Spa De Crist. I love that each one of those services is so different and I can reach people on three specific levels. There is great fulfillment in changing how people feel about themselves. It's my job to make sure that every client I reach out to feels like a million bucks when they leave my pedi throne, mani station, facial table, and hair chair! Salon & Spa De Crist is my home (second of course to the one I have that's filled with a husband and a cat) and God has blessed me with such an amazing atmosphere to provide such great services to my current clients and of course my first time clients. I want to be the person who brings you a peaceful and relaxing spa service but can also show you a fun and exciting hair service. I am also certified in Rockstar Hair Extensions.  Shelbi Lyons- Hair & Nails                                               

Hello! My name is Shelbi Lyons. I started working at Salon & Spa De Crist in August 2010. I Absolutely love my job and getting to work with people everyday. I love everything about doing hair and making people feel beautiful. I like doing different cuts as well as trims; color, such as all over color, hi-lights, low-lights, or funky chunks of color; and styling your hair with the products that best for your needs. By doing this, I will show you how to recreate the salon-look at home. I am also a Nail Technician. If you have weak or brittle nails you should definitely come in and try our gel nail polish. It is stronger than regular nail polish, does not damage the nail like acrylic nails, and lasts for up to 2 weeks. Diana Lass- Hair

I have thoroughly enjoyed working in the beauty industry since 1993. I began my career as a nail technician and a hairstylist. After two years I decided that being a nail tech was not my forte. I began honing my skills for hair cutting and coloring. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist- a great haircut is all in the details. In 2001 I helped Janel open Salon & Spa De Crist and it has been an amazing journey of growth and success. Today I work side by side with her to create a peaceful salon environment. Part of my job as a hairstylist is to teach you how to style your hair so that you not only love it when you leave the salon; you love it every day thereafter. Coloring hair continues to be exciting year after year. Through the years I have learned many different brands and techniques. Hair color is multifunctional. I can make your hair look fuller, give your hair texture and body, smooth out the texture of medium to coarse hair giving it more shine, or simply make your overall appearance just glow. Your hair color should compliment your haircut! I also enjoy the true art of hairstyling; what is known today as an up do or up styling. When you get an elegant style for a wedding or a special occasion my hope is that you feel truly glamorous!




Aubrey Hennington - Hair & Nails

I have always loved doing hair and decided to make it my profession. I'm going on 7 years now and have been at Salon & Spa De Crist for 6 of them. I love this industry and its creative nature, I want to take all the time I need so that you are satisfied with your look and confident that you can create the same look. I work hard to be current with new trends and styles, striving to make each look custom to your face shape and life style. Coloring is an all time favorite of mine. I'm a very creative person so my juices really get going when I have a client who lets me put a little of flair in their color. Whether it's just an all over color with warm tones to a few accent highlights, or even a very dramatic look of purple chunks, I'm all over it.  I have naturally curly hair so I understand the effects of a good cut and texture to that hair type. I'm not afraid to cut curly hair.  Also having Great Clips as my background, I have become very good at guy and kid cuts, making sure my accuracy and timing is great. If you're looking for a great salon that the whole family can come to, then this is the place and I'm the stylist you are looking for. Can't wait to see you in my chair!!!!





Febe Long - Hair & Make-up

In 2006 I was blessed to be a part of Salon & Spa De Crist, and I completed my 2 year apprenticeship under the salon’s owner Janel Schick in the summer of 2009. The hands-on training I received gave me the opportunity to be creative with cut and color while still maintaining the integrity of the hair. I believe that whether your style is funky or classic your hair should be luxuriously healthy! While I love basic cuts and color, I also enjoy razor cuts, extreme coloring, and formal up-do styling. Hair styling is truly an art to me and I can’t wait to create a new look especially for you!





Kylie Farnsworth - Hair

Hair and fashion trends have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.  I am constantly gaining new abilities and creative ideas by following looks in magazines and runway, modifying and recreating the latest and greatest. The importance of feeling beautiful and confident everyday is something that I strive to give to each and every client I see, whether its through a trendy new haircut, or a sleek, natural color. Speaking of feeling beautiful, I also am known to be the "bridal stylist". I have been the trusted stylist to many brides through the years. I love wedding parties! It’s always such an honor to be a part of the big day, the excitement and energy in the air is always so much fun! Your hair will always come out amazing regardless of any circumstance. I also travel on location to style hair for more convenience to the bridal party.  I enjoy teaching my clients exactly how to perfect their look so that they feel comfortable recreating their style at home.   Although I enjoy and am skilled in all aspects of hairstyling I have a special place in my heart for long blonde hair. That being said, I specialize in beautiful blonde color, as well as Vision hair extensions.  I am a firm believer that your hair should look shiny, healthy and beautiful when you leave the salon, so I do everything I can to maintain the quality of my clients hair. The Vision hair extensions are a beautiful, natural looking addition to any head of hair, and should never cause unwanted damage or stress.


Cody Walker - Hair & Nails

I have been a stylist a Salon & Spa De Crist since March of 2006. Although I only work part time I find myself to be dependable and loyal to my clients. My passion for hair keeps me up to date on the latest trends, I enjoy creating anything from a natural highlight to bold creative colors. I want you to feel confident with your service when you leave my chair. Some of my talents include up-do’s for special occasions, natural curly hair, and texturizing. I am very honored to be a part of Salon & Spa De Crist and to grow with such a talented team. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys. I hope to see you soon!






Lauren Fields - Hair

Hello beautiful wonderful world! My name is Lauren and I began working at Salon & Spa De Crist in March of 2006. I attended cosmetology school at Dillard’s Hair and Nail school and have found that you always learn so much more when you start work at a salon. That being said, I have loved learning so much from every one of my co-workers as well as tips and tricks from various educational classes. I will have it to be known I’m also a sucker for the occasional You Tube tutorial on hairstyling or hair cutting techniques (the latter done strictly by professionals of course!) I enjoy working with Schwarzkopf color line and love being able to change your look with all over color, high-lights, lo-lights or maybe just a random peek-a-boo chunk of color. I love it when I can see pictures of what you’re trying to obtain and talk through that with you. We also carry some amazing products to help your color last longer and keep your hair healthier and shinier. Morrocanoil is easily a salon favorite. I want you to rock your hair love it and be IN love with it too! I like to be very precise and exact when giving a haircut. I like to talk with my clients and find out about their hair texture, their past cutting experiences, and which cutting tool(s) they’re most comfortable with me using on their hair. I like to cut a client’s hair wet and then go back through it as I style to make sure every part of it is perfect! I especially love point cutting layers to ensure they will blend well and evenly! I love talking with my clients and getting to know them not just as a client but as a friend. I want you to be able to come and relax in our salon, and leave feeling your best and looking beautiful!


Rosey Ostapowicz - Hair

In 2007 I began a passionate journey to fulfill a great need in this industry, My goal has been to recreate the "typical salon experience" by going above and beyond your past experiences and future expectations. I like to spend the time necessary to figure out what you really want and create that look with perfection! I love the opportunity to create and think outside the box customizing a look that fits your specific personality to a tee!
Weather you want polished and professional or edgy and more trendy, I am dedicated to achieving your look through cuts and colors that leave you happy, confident, and looking your very best! Your hair is your best accessory and I am determined to keep it that way. 
I’m always up for a good laugh, meeting new exciting people and making long lasting relationships through my hair chair. My goal is for you to have the best time every time while you are in my chair relaxing and knowing that you are in great hands.





Michael Raab - Massage therapy

Massage therapy is a God-given talent that I have done since I was 16. Massaging family and friends is how I started, and it laid my foundation for bodywork in the future. I attended Massage Therapy Training Institute and I graduated in 2009. During that time in school, I learned a lot about helping my clients manage and overcome pain, stress and injuries. I learned a wide variety of massage modalities such as Swedish, Myofascial, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Sports, Hot & Cold Stone, Shiatsu and more. With my education, I became a licensed, board-certified massage therapist through FSMTB. During every massage session you have with me, I take the time to educate you so you understand what is going on with your body and so you can learn the benefits of massage. I thrive on blessing others with massage techniques to alleviate pain and melt away stress. My goal is that you have an awesome and relaxing massage experience; and you leave your massage feeling healthy, energized, and stress-free every time you come in to see me. I also have a background working with athletes’ sports injuries and can educate my clients on how to take care of their bodies while in training. Jill Kinsey - Make-up

I have been a makeup artist for over 20 years and my love for makeup stems back to childhood.  I worked and trained with many cosmetics lines and national makeup artists.  I have a degree in Commercial Art and Fashion Merchandising. I have experience with all skin types and face shapes. I can create a timeless and sophisticated look for the traditional bride as well as a unique and exotic look for the ostentatious bride.  Precision is very important to me and I will create a breath-taking look that is right for you on your special day.  Makeup artistry is a true passion for me. I cant wait to meet you and make you the most gorgeous bride possible!
